ive been parking the beast half on a snowdrift to conserve space in front of the house. she never gives me issues starting, except when parked there. shes at like a 15 to 20 degree angle to the drivers side, and only on cold starting, takes a few good cranks. once she runs for a few seconds shes good. she leaks a small ammount of diesel which i havnt delt with yet, but she never gives my problems while sitting flat...

If it can leak fuel, it can draw in air. At that particular angle the ability for it to draw in a tiny bit of air is allowing the fuel to drain back a little too. I have the same issue with my pick-up...if I park it facing downhill it starts no problem. If i park it overnight facing uphill it can be a cranky bitch. I have a fuel line that is a bit moist, and i haven't had the time or motivation to change or repair it...so i park facing downhill. :haha:

As mentioned above if a 6.2 has any type of fuel leak at all there is the potential to have a hard starting condition. I went through an issue awhile back where my Blazer wouldn't start is parked uphill on driveway for more than a few days, but never had any issues with it parked level or downhill. Found a very small leak at the fuel filter.
