This is what I've got and I'm finally getting around to organizing the rest of my crap at work. I've looked for storage containers like these but have come up empty. Anyone know how I can get my hands on some like these or a store that can ship me several? (Ps) the second one came from a bank, stupid heavy duty, so I'm sure I won't find another. :(

I'm a deal, or, preferably FREE hunter for sure. ALL my storage metal cabinets have been aquired for free. I still have my first storage cabinet I got when I was just 16, and it was free too. only storage I've paid for has been my three big Snap On boxes, but I even got those for 1/2 what they cost new, and they were brand new from Snap On too. I might do a video tour of my garage before and after the cnc mill arrives.

Those steel 12x18 bins are pretty common through any hardware supplier. I've seen them all over the internet for $20-$22 a bin, and somewhere around $75-$100 for the 4 bin racks with the slides. I can't remember what the good keyword is to search for them with...hardware bin usually gives you too much information.

I sold a bunch of them when I managed a Fastenal, but we were buying them for about what a guy can pay on the internet for them...in other words, after our markup, we weren't competitive. I have some from Fastenal and I filled all kinds of other brands for my customers...they're all pretty much identical other than color, so I'd just buy the cheapest ones you can find. The slide racks can vary a bit though, as with any toolbox with slides or whatever, the more expensive ones usually have better slides.

Equiprite was the company making our Fastenal-branded ones.

I have some filing cabinets like the bank ones--nice for things like drills ,saber saws, hardware, and the soldering iron,etc..

I lucked out at several swap meets and flea markets and got some good deals on some steel drawers used at a hardware srore for a brass fitting assortment, and a few I scored at the parts stores when they cleaned the storeroom of old dispays out..also found a nice set that I hung on the wall at a machine shop closing down, they had a big "yard sale" and I loaded my El-Camino to the hilt with 200 bucks worth of nuts, bolts, screws and the drawers they came it...

I would say try looking in auction listings for closing stores or shops, you can get a lot of that type of stuff cheap at those liquidation sales..
Craigslist often has some too, usually the guys who bought them at auctions flip them for double what they paid ..
