I want a white soft top for my 78 and I think the only big name making white ones is softtopper and I don't like they're design of the side windows, maybe its just me but it look like it just weird being that small. it should continue to the back of the top and it looks like a trapazoid

Anyone had one custom made or know of a soft top place that is familiar
with k5s?

I had both by Bimini top and a full top custom made. Just hunt around upholstery shops or Boat cover tops. You can also check with the local hot rodders and see if somebody can recommend a shop that does custom convertible tops.

Here are a couple pics of mine if you haven't seen it. Seems like the Bimini ran me a little less than $300.00 and the full was closer to $600.00. But that was custom fit to my weird roll cage and to my specs.

Really like my softtopper. I have had mine for two years. Great for keeping in the sun off your back and your passengers. I see what you are saying about the windows. You could just buy it and have larger windows put in. I hardly ever have my sides down on mine even in the winter. Doesn't get that cold in the Mojave Desert.

I called softtopper and they agreed to make the side windows bigger, I know it sounds crazy but i judt didn't think they looked right, they're getting it done in a couple of weeks when they start the next round of production, at this rat eill get installed just in time for winter :P

thats cool that they would work with you on the design a little. just make sure to post pics when you get it. ive always kinda liked soft tops.
