Has anyone made a full frame

Now I see what you were talking about....nice design on the mating of the pieces!

So seeing that shipping a frame would be rediculous... Could you sell templates?

He was just talking about that today!

He was also talking about building auto transmissions because he knows that is the future of off road performance!

Yep, templates are totally doable and the only way it really makes sense. Can also do angle gauges for checking the bends before setting them in place with the weld. A bit more accurate than an adjustable protractor. For instance, a pair of my bends are 11.3612*. Can't read that on my adjustable angle finder. Obviously, that kind of accuracy probably isn't neccessary but why not when you can cut a gauge to the exact angle.

You CWAZY Dave!!:thumb:

Are either of you fish plating joints?

I will be.

Considering a 3 sided fish plate. Catch both sides of the tube and the inside of the bend where the tube was cut.

I was able to draw this quickly on lunch yesterday. I need to double check my measurements. Hopefully I'll get a chance on lunch today to draw crossmembers and body mounts. I will be making one with leaf springs and just plain for guys like me who plan on links :) Ignore my construction lines
