hmmm, looks like I might be using them soon, they have some nice looking stuff, and pretty good info like what kind of socket each vehicle has and how many of them.........cool.

I have never seen them but the gauges in the pics look like the needle is lit too. I know they say for use in "older" vehicles but those gauges look like the early to mid 90's vehicles like the cheve trucks. I don't know if they are talking about trucks as old as ours. I would definitely like to see how they work though. Seems like there is always a bulb out in my dash. I hate that.
 
They will work and they look decent, but you cant dim them any. They are either on or off. You could wire up a potentiometer to change that, but then you would have two dimmer switches.

Ditto that, I looked at the .pdf instructions and it looked like a newer model truck to me. Perhaps the install is identical though. The bulbs are intriguing. My existing lights are pretty dim.
 
Yea LED's are pretty kool except for one problem, you cant dim them as stated above, they are either on or off no dimming.
