hd 10b tierod on d60?

i have a heaby duty tie-rod for my 10b, will it be able to work on a d60, maybe with different ends?

The 10 Bolt tie rod is longer then the D60, so just cut it shorter and retap the end a little deeper.

any idea how much i'd need to cut off?

Its a little longer but not much, maybe 1-2". Really depends of how tight your 10b tie rod was built. If the ends are screwed all the way in, you will have to cut some off. If they are adjusted out a good ways you will be fine.
