HD Front Upper Shackle Hanger (FUSH) question

I am swapping frames on my K5 project. The frame that I purchased already has the factory front upper shackle hangers removed, but the holes were drilled out larger than the 7/16" that ORD requires.

How much larger can the bolt holes be before I should worry about it?

you need a fairly tight fit on the bolts but I would think if they are 1/2" holes you should be fine.

If the holes are larger than that drill the FUSH bracket holes a bit larger.

It looks like I have 3 bolt holes on one side that have been drilled out to 5/8". The remainder are at 1/2".

Do you know where I can purchase the larger diameter "Tuff Torq" bolts like what is included in the kit?

The "Tuff Torq" is just a brand name for the bolt from ORDs supplier. Buy Grade 8 bolts.

I would talk with Stephen before drilling the holes that much larger.
