I have no idea about axle #'s.

There are 2 types of wheel hubs (not to be confused with a locking hub). One that takes a external locking hub that is held on by 8 bolts and was on 3/4 ton D44 from 60's to 76. The other type takes a internal locking hub that fits into the internal splines of the wheel hub. Once you know what type you have you just have to pick a brand and install them.

That was to convert the axle. If you also have a part time case (np203) that will have to be converted as well.
