How tall is he, I hope you have some 7 foot guys or at least build ramps around the truck i you are thinking to lift the body up with man power.
:D

Somehow I'm thinking with those springs, shackle angle wont matter much...:wink1:

I think i was thinkin the same thing RYOKEN. I guess I'll see how they fold under full weight? Engine didnt move it much, but Ive carried the sm465 and 205 alll around my yard and...damn those things are heavy! The Sm has to be atleast 250lbs+. Maxes me out, but I'd kill for this build. Still dont look like it will fold right though...

Tech question...

Can I get a NP205 front d-ahaft 1410 (like the ones Boyce and what not sell for the Rocks?)

Is it whacko that I have a 60/70hd combo that I might put in a 2-door cherokee?

I sure hope that motor doesnt blow up in my face.

Heres those closes THATK30GUY (Check it out first hand...Ill pay for the transport...help lift the body?).

6 or 7 guys on each side. Military press. 20ft. forward...no prob...If I have to I will figure out how to do it alone.

Wow! Thems some BEEFY plates, u-bolts and perches. Whats the thickness of those u-bolts? I'd guess 1".

Let me know when, I'm 6'4 but I'm sure it will still be fun lifting a K5 tub onto stilts. I know my pickup cab and 4 guys was a chore, gonna need a minimum of 6 guys for the K5 tub. :wink1:

It's looking beefy heaphy! :thumb:

I had a 73 tub, stripped completely and it took us 4 guys to lift it to 2" lifted frame.
6 would have been easier.
But this is I believe a half top so heavier, and the frame is much higher.
Good luck:D

its almost the same its just like yours is backwards (i know its not)...mabye its just a diffrent year rock where they did some diffrent stuff...what kind of steering and brakes are you running...we are sorting all that out right now on his...

The tie rod can be placed in front or behind the axle. They come with them behind the axle in the M35 to protect it in case they hit something. Swapping knuckles is all you have to do to switch.

As far as brakes go, I used to run pinion brakes on the street. They work well for short periods, but they get very hot quickly and lose their ability to stop the truck. I went to wheel brakes for the front of my truck and plan to do the same for the rear soon. It stops so much better now with just the front wheels brakes.

I had help from a guy on Pirate4x4.com named studlybilly and Steve Gerstner from Differential Engineering. The setup is cheaper than the kits out there. if you are interested in doing it, search for Rockwell wheel brakes on Pirate and check out the thread by DriveTime (that's me).

Are you just looking for a 1410 yoke for a 205? If so, Chucks Trucks has them, High Angle Driveline should have them as well.

Somebody also asked about driveshafts with the Rockwell 4 bolt flange - when you get your driveshafts made you will have to have a matching flange on the U joint to bolt to the Rockwell chunk.

Naw, my grandmother that lives in AZ passed away and I had to go out there for the funeral. I just got back yesterday.

I did clean up all the parts and took a stab at getting the old pilot bushing out. I have a wedding to go to this weekend so I dont think Ill get a hole lot done. I was thinkin I might need a little break anyway...to remotivate and such.
