Is it possible to use the crossover steering arms and everything from one of those old heep trucks with dana front axles? And maybe a 2wd steering box? I dont have the need for x-over right now or probably ever but if this works I wouldnt mind doing a 52" spring swap.

the 79 j10 frame i had did not have any steering arms. the draglink went to the tie rod at about 2/3s over toward the passenger side. it did however have the flat top knuckles that are required to do crossover steering on our trucks.

this is one thing i have always wonered about...why couldnt you use the tie rod and draglink of a 70s ford 1/2 ton...basicallt the same thing as crossover...are a for and a chevy 44 diffrent track widths???
