HELP, having trouble with caddy caliper e-brake

ok so if you are looking at the e-brake bolt and you turn it clockwise it turns the piston out, but when you try to turn it counterclockwise it tries to go down into the caliper and doesnt release the e-brake, what am I doing wrong???

Pm HarryH3, he rebuilt mine for me. He knows whats going on with them /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
