The tub is worth a few bucks to us CA with the smog nazi on our ass.

Someone paid a lot for those springs but worthless to most of us.

Looks like an NP205, 1/2ton axles

I wouldn't pay more than a $1K (rig alone) assuming there isn't any back fee's on it and the title is clean.

and BTW that rig has been on CL for months.

but you can't swap those vin's right?

IMO that rig doesn't have much to offer other than maybe the 4spd if that's something you need.

"Theoretical" question: What if I installed a DIY4X dash, how do I do the vin plate then?

that old vin should be door jamb 4 rivits .

and diy4x dash you remove all the dash BUT leave the vin tag section factory welded in .

also 2nd listing you posted said not run few years . but no mention of non-op tag status . better check that or it could cost you a lot in back fees from what I have read others post up .

OK one more.....Emailed the guy and he said it "should" run if cleaned up and some new fuel. Was parked cuz it got hard to start (glowplugs maybe???) Would probably swap my tbi 350 if I decided to build this one instead of my 77.

Search tempest has officially ruined m life. The sickness has set in.

Stayed up late last night looking around and saw an 85 Burb for $1300.

Description as follows:
