MTR's are far superior to Pro Comps in the rocks. TheRobZilla used to run ProComp MT's in the rocks and hated them. He now runs MTR's and loves them like I do. I wouldn't mind having 37's but I don't need them to get every place I am willing to put the truck.
MTR's are a damn good tire in the rocks. And anybody who says you have to have big tires and alot of fancy stuff to take hard lines rock crawling needs to come out to AZ.
Here is a pic from the last outing we did. 35" MTR's and nothing to special under the truck. I drove out of this flop without the winch cable. I needed a couple hands to keep it somewhat upright but I did drive out under my own power.
TSL's do damn good in the mud, and are pretty good in the rocks too. For a non-DD truck Swampers are a pretty good rock tire with some grooving.
