After getting about three hours of sleep in the past three days, i'm looking for any help I can get. I never have had problems with falling asleep until recently. It seems that no matter how mentally or physically tired I am, I can't get myself to relax enough to fall asleep. Sometimes a song will pop in my head and I can't turn it off. Sometimes I start thinking about the things that cause me stress. It just seems that I cannot get myself to that point where you fully relax and start to fall asleep. I have looked at my diet and lifestyle and can't find anything wrong there that would cause me problems. The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that for the past six months I have not kept a regular sleep cycle. I was thinking about Ambien or Lunesta... anyone have any experience with these? I know that somebody has to have some good solid advice that they can share with me.
