HF 12 ton jackstand review

In another thread a member mentioned hf jackstands and it sparked my old memory that i wanted to review the 12 tons i just bought

These things are beasts! Very surprised and happy with the build quality. Easily the best built thing I've ever bought from hf

Used them over the weekend for my D60 swap and they were perfect. At 19" collapsed it only took 3 clicks to reach the frame.

Better yet, everyday price is $99, they were on sale for $79. I said "guess i cant use my coupon cuz they're on sale"

The guy says "won't hurt to check"
Scans it and bingo, 20% more off!

Got em for $65!
Overall they are really worth it and would recommend if you ned some tall stands

I've seen some that use steel balls in the center post and are infinitely adjustable...

I wonder how those hold up in the real world..

I was eyeballing some sunex pin style stands but at $200 a pair i was holding back

I will put HF jack stands against anybodys' at any price. I have been using the hell out of my 6 ton stands for about 6 years now with zero issues. A lot of HF tools are iffy, but their stands are solid. I use their floor jack as well, no issues. I have a pair of their basic 3 ton floor jacks.

Same here. Makes doing axle stuff way easier when you can actually get the stand up to the frame rail when you’re on 40s

I also have another similar pair that looks to be home made, bought them at a swap meet only because the price was right and they were very nice quality

I'm not exactly sure where we got these. My brother ordered them several years ago and then I gave him half the $$
