Holy Crazy price Batman!

kinda high my 1990 k2500 pickup had the NV3500 5 speed that went to crap and i bought a NEW sm465 for a 4wd WITH the marrage adaptor for $777.00 from mountain states distributors that included shipping and grand total for the swap after bellhousing and all new clutch parts was about $2200
also some info on that swap i used a 1997 c1500 bellhouseing witch was the only one with a pass side external slave cylender, the marrage adaptor was for a 1989 k3500 single wheel pickup with 454 and 4 speed and the best master cylender was for a 1993 k2500 witch was the only one i could find with a bleeder valve on the master cyl. itself perhaps this tiny bit of info might help some of you doing swaps.
oh also a sm465 for a 89 k3500 has a differnt top that moves the stick back about 3" on the trans i have often thought that top would be nice in a k5 and either the straight stick for the 89 or the cuved stick for the older trucks fit that top
