So Cal.
I just came across this old school GM video of how a differential works. It's pretty cool. Enjoy.

When I was like 10 my dad explained differentials to me. So I started building them in my Lego vehicles. The 3-speed transmissions I liked, but my Lego diffs were always so big and the cars would end up doing the one-wheelie-peelie. So I would go back to a single axle. Now I have a 10-year kid with Legos. I wonder if I can figure out an automatic locking diff that's small enough to work with reasonable Lego tires?

My dad had a copy of that for his projector. I remember watching it in 4H. He tought the small engine course. My son has the projector. Will have to see if he has the movie too.

They make pneumatic Legos now.
Grab an air actuator/valve, and make you an air locker...:woot:

Really cool video. Honestly I've never completely understood a diff......I got the concept but not exactly how it worked.
