I'm gonna do the herculiner stuff and wanna take it off...
there are two bolts on both sides that you have to unbolt
they loosen up the helper springs. that are sandwiched between a braket to hold them in place.
when you do that you need to take off the tailgate panel(the one that covers up the regulator).
next take off the tailgate cabels, and the take out the eight bolts for the hinges. after you do all of that grab ahold of both sides and pull up and back and it *should* come right off
hope this helps
and moke sure not to drop it huh!
if for some reason you do drop it do your self a favor and move real fast. you feet will thank you /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Just ask me how I know that /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
lol.. did your feet break the glass's fall???
I left the cables bolted up (loosely) til last. once all 8 hinge bolts are out the cables support the gate just fine. If you have help its easy to get one guy on each side...each one undoes the finger tight cable bolt and slide the gate out and back.
Don't forget to unplug the wiring if its a power gate./forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
luckily the glass was not in it (everything else was though). I was pulling it back off after I had my blazer painted to herculine it. after it bounced of the top of my feet and I got it put on a piece of cardboard I quit for the day and soaked my feet. and enjoyed every step I took for a week /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
