How do i get the measurement for my rear driveline? 74 k5 w/a 203 and 14 bolt...
measure from where the u-joins sit in the yokes. just go from transfer case to the diferential
thats for a basic shaft. you need to stuff your wheels for a performance shaft. measure at full dropp and at cull compression for the best fit on a performance shaft.
so i need to take the loader bucket and lift the back up to measure onece and then compress it down to measure the other measurement???
can i just measure it as it sits and make a long slip yoke?
When I had my slip yoke CV made, I was told to measure from the end of the output on the t-case to the front of the yoke on the rear. This was suppose to have been done while sitting on a flat surface. (No compression or lifting)
