How do I check to see if my motor mounts need to be replaced?

Typically if someone sits in the truck with it running, and you have the hood open, watch the motor as that person revs it. It will tend to try and "flip over" jumping pretty healthily as it tries. Some twisting is normal of course.

Have someone get in the truck, and shift between drive and reverse, and give it a little gas while holding their foot on the brake so the truck doesn't move (also set the e-brake). Watch the motor, and you will be able to see if it lifts up on one side or the other from the torque.
