How do you replace a ring and pinion seal??

72 chevy 4x4....my front ring and pinion seal is leaking badly....how hard is it to replace...should I attempt it myself or have a mechanic do the job?

Its not hard, but if you don't have the tools, or don't want to invest, might be easier to pay the man. ?? $40-80 labor ?? With tools, 30 minutes.
