How far do you drive to work?

I used to drive 25 miles 1 way. Then I changed jobs due to the waste of time traveling, now I work less than 2 miles from the house

34 miles round trip for 3 days a week and 102 miles round trip for 2 days a week. Once I'm at work, I drive anywhere from 180 to 460 miles every night.

32 miles one way....

backroads which is nice... 45 minutes in the morning and 1 hr going home

but soon we will be offsite (currently onsite at a oil refinery) and will be less than 1/2 of my 1 way commute that I have now:bow: ... plus no bridge toll

18 miles one way. Is that a realtor question?
Ah, I bet so! I wandered what he was up to.

15 miles to work for me.

i drive 5 minutes to work than i get my work truck from the company and than drive that to all the sites to do check ups and make sure everything is working good. so about 4 miles in my rig, than about 200+ on the company truck every day.

damn, most of you guys are lucky. Recently its been in the 120-140 mile round trip range....in my 94 Blazer....getting like 15-16 mpg

58 miles one way. In the blazer with no radio, no insulation or carpet. arghh this sucks. Fill up every 2 1/2 days.

Nope, I might have an interview coming up with a company that is 32 miles from the house one way, would be the farthest I ever traveled for a job, but I need a job.

lol @ all of you!!!

Friday morning get up around 4 am leave by 4:30 and drive to Indio, Ca. Which is 181 miles one way.

Monday morning get off shift and drive 181 miles back to home.

I only do the drive twice a week and the benifit is living in Arizona and getting California wages. It takes me a little over 2 1/2 hours to get to and from work.

Driving a 2006 Dodge Durango with the V6 getting about 21 mpg.
When I drive the 2003 2500 4X4 Hemi I get about 13 mpg.
The 1981 K5 Blazer does not get driven to work.:(
