I'm thinking about tires of a similar diameter (31-inch), but on 17-inch steelies (vs the current 15-inchers). That would get rid of some sidewall flex. It's just a street and fishing/hunting truck anyway, so shorter sidewalls wouldn't be a drawback, and less wallowing never hurts on the pavement.

With this setup I knocked down a solid 17mpg Hwy and had tons of power . On one trip to Houston it got nearly 20mpg running 80mph
The truck is currently undergoing a Full frame off . to Include , LT1 TPI,(with a possible Procharger) NV4500/241d combo , Filled-smoothed-and painted frame, Suburban fueltank, Aluminum diamond plate bed floor, 35" Goodear MTR's, and new drivelines .
I'm hoping it will get as good of Mileage as before and it should be more fun to drive with the NV4500
