how many flashers should a 86 pickup have

my 84 k5 has two flashers..(for the turn signals) ans my 86 only has one...is it suppost to have two? im trying to figure out why my turn signals dont work on it,....

There was often 1 flasher for the turn signals & an other for the hazard lights. Not sure which years were which though.

if i remember right your '86 should also have 2 flashers on it. one for the turn signals and one for the hazards.

so if it was missing the flasher...would they work..and just not blink and stay steady..or would they not work at all?

Whichever one did not have the flasher, you would get nothing (the circuit stays open).

one on each side of the fuse panel, there should be a round provision for them. normal to the top of the panel.

ok well i found it..repalced it..and it fixed the problem..but it was on another fuse panal...theres like another one next to it kind of that it was on!?...\

and i have another question..my radio also does not work so of course i went to check the fuse..
well..the prongs from the fuse were sticking out of it and bent..and they kid of fell/tore out when i pulled them out. and there is like wires sticking out in there..and the plastic around the socket looks melted or beat up or something..and it doesnt look like all the other sockets..with the gold colord inserts for the fuse to easily slide in to..i couldnt even get the fuse in there!! does that mean i need a new fuse panal? what happened!!??
