how many miles do you get out if a 350? just wondering
I have over 150K, it puffs a little smoke on startup, but runs great other than that.

My 89 still has the original engine with 230K and still going strong.

My 305 has around 170k.
buildin a 400 for it, any info greatly appreciated
We have a '92 sub with a throttle body 350 in it with 340K miles. It still starts and runs just fine, the rest of it's pretty tired, rear end makes a little noise, etc, but it's still running strong.

my 400 mouse outlived my 350 tranny, but since i unplug the speedo to keep the insurance and emissions down i'll never know. the speedo says 150k but that's about to me as useful as the spare tire on a ford focus.
I just got a winch, it takes the fun out of things.

I have 147K on my 90 350 with no problems at all, still runs great. Have a frined with an old Suburban with 250K on its 350, but it runs like crap.
250,000 miles before mine died
I have a 350 with 230,000 ks and a 305 with over 300,000. The 305 smokes a bit at start up but is still a good runner.
If you are having too much fun it's probably illegal.
I have a '77 350 with 70,000 on it
