How much can you mill off a head before.....

.....you need to mod the intake side of the heads to fit the intake on an SBC?

Supposedly my Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads were milled .008"...

<font color="#666666"> </font color> I'm reading from a book here that says too much info. The way it reads is that the end gaskets should have enough give to still allow the intake to bolt up.

It gives a percentage to mill 125% off the man/head as what was milled of the head/block surface of the head, or .010". The gasket should give.
