How much for a 14bff??

I think I found one for 150 from this one guy but the only bad thing about it is that it has 3.73 gears but I need 4.56 gears anyways so the gears dont really matter that much.
Thanks

$50 around here.. I even got one junk yard the guy said $35-$40 when he gets them... and that is complete.... I have 1 under my truck and a spare under my pickup trailer!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I wont pay more then $100cdn, easy to find here for that price, bought one a month ago for $100
just got another with a D60 for $1000 pair (govloc though)
it is basically just a core anyway so unless you can verify the gears are recent they are worthless IMO
just try and get an open dif on the side of the carrier split you need for your plans

Thick gears are available in every ratio for the 14 bolt full floater.

Not to mention that in most cases, it's easier to find the thick gears for the 4.10 and down carrier than it is the regular thin gears. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

It must be the northeast rust belt that keeps prices low here--I can get a 14 bolt FF or SF for between 50 and 200 bucks, depending on mileage, gearing, and the year(older ones are cheaper, and heavier duty)yes,I am friends with the owners of the yards, but they have so much stuff in the yards, and 15-30 new arrivals every day that they just want to sell it--many are getting crushed complete, without even looking to see whats under the hood or the running gear, they are running out of room!.I cringe every time I go looking for parts--nearly every time I see a K series truck better than mine going in the crusher. Many people here buy the whole truck for a few hundred bucks from the guys that scrap them--I have intercepted a few right at the scales and offered them 100 bucks more than the scrap price, and they brought it right to my yard on the ramp truck!.I got a lot of spare parts cheap that way--and I junk the leftovers and make enough for lunch and gas!.I wish I had a ramp truck--but my yard would look alot like the boneyard in no time!. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got a 14bolt dually 4.56 from ebay for $10.50, parted it out and made $150 cash plus I got a other 14bolt with 4.10's in another deal, parted out the gears from that for $75, won another 3.73 14bolt off ebay for $10 and got spring plates with it! So lets see I put $200+ in my pocket and I have 2 complete 14bolts and then bought a 14 bolt 4.56 and D44 package for $100 /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I'd say check ebay and look around. I hate the yards, they are a rip off and the people there are usually retarted when it comes to pricing out stuff. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

why would someone waste their time advertising or selling something to make $10
