How much should I sell for?

It's all about finding the right buyer, I suppose. In general, C10s are hot now. I believe the short beds are in more demand than long, though. There could be somebody that appreciates the low-ish build numbers of a very basic GMC, but that doesn't go too far when parts have been swapped. There's also the show-street crowd that wants to drop these things and put turbo-LS in, but needing a couple of doors, a fender, some other body-work, etc, their entry-price would need to be low.

In general, those that hang out here tend to view values fairly low, since they've bought and sold many at low prices over the years.

It depends on how quickly you want to sell and value your time. You could ask top dollar and spend months with people trying to sell it. Price it below market value and then save some time.

In PA that’s a $2k truck. Being 2wd the only people interested up here would be the lowering crowd. Looks like it needs a lot of interior work, and a lot of body work if someone wants it to look “nice”

If you can get $4k I’d take it, but I’ve seen people pay crazy money for squares lately.

Agreed with all the other comments on finding that person that offered 4K and sell it to them before they do some research.

The truck just ain’t no virgin and has absolute base drivetrain that is not on anyone’s list of things wanted - 10-bolt rear axle ( weakest one ever put in a C-10 ) a TH350 trans ( noth’n special ) and an integrated head 250 6-cyl ( bottom of the barrel - even for those that dig in-line motors ) unless the cab is in exceptional condition that would be the only true attention getter ( still is a non-A/C cab though ).

Go find that 4K offer and set that thing free.

After reading your comment about your GF thinking that your truck is a “classic” I thought it would be best if ya had an analogy of two different types of classics to compare a dollar amount too.

The crew cab 4x4 K-30 is = to Michael Jordan.

The worn out fat guy is = to the 2WD C-10 longbed that you want “classic” money value for.

The NBA just ain’t gonna pay the same amount for each one - go find that 4K offer !
