How to replace wrist pins?

I agree with these guys, it's pretty unlikely to be a wrist pin. But if it was, you can't just put a new wrist pin in. Because the hardened steel wrist pin (which is usually pressed into the connecting rod through the piston, unless it's "floating") rides in the aluminum piston, and if the wrist pin is making a noise, it is more likely that the piston is the problem and the wrist pin is moving around in it.

I hope you find your ticking and it's nothing internal. Good luck.

ITS THE FLYWHEEL!!!!!!!!!
YAYYYYY!

haha. easy fix. this is exciting.
Good news. But you are going to go ahead and do the wrist pins too just in case.......Right?:D

did you learn anything by this, not to listen to 'several' people diagnose internal engine damage by just hearing it?
