How wide is too wide???

Thats how I make most of my decisions. easier that way and you can always blame it on the sauce to anyone who, just dont get it.

Haha, Nah if i like something and somebody says they dont i say :well eff you, you can buy your own and do it your own way lol.

Or i hit with a, Your just jealous lol :haha:

44 boggers

I know it's not the norm around here but i want to runn 44 boggers. I know they are wide but i dont want to over lift k5. I still want to climb hills and such. I dont mind doing some cutting. Does anyone have a good idea of what amount of lift it will take? I wuld like to keep a decent COG. I know I can 10-12" susp but I would like to do a lifted 52" up front and shacle flip in back. it already has 3" body lift.
Thanks
:doah:

Deuling, with the 13.5's and 15x10's I'd bet you'd be into the fenders on turning. You're basically putting a wheel on that's 2-3" wider than the stock wheel and that sticks out about the same compared to the stock wheel. This will put the tire further out from under the fender compared to stock. Going to hit the fender if you stuff it hard and/or while turning.

Me personally I HATE having tires stick out from under the fenders. Your vehicle gets dirty every time you hit anything wet or dirty just on the road.

Lol yah i know its a pain, but i like the sticking out look, No i will get 12.5s, the 13.5s are too expensive, and yah i dont wanna have to lift it enough to make them fit to be able to turn.

Depending on where you live you could wind up with a bunch of tickets. Tires sticking out is illegal in most places. They are easy for police to spot, they are the cars with the 3 foot roost going over the top of the car when it rains.

Lol lots a farm towns around here, their are trucks way wider than this all over, i know a couple buddies with them and theyve never mentioned anything. But thanks ill take that into consideration.

I'd have to agree with AJM, I had 10in rims and took them off soon after. I personally like the the look of 8,s better. With the 10 in rims u cant turn as sharp I found. As for the rear axle being shorter than front I think that has to do with turning radius also I could be wrong though. I think your truck looks nice as it is now just maybe 2.5 in lift. Just my opinion. What ever u decide enjoy your truck looks nice!

I've got 13.5 tires on 11" rims. its wider that I'd personally like. but I'll just get bigger tires next :thumb:

Hey man thanks!!! I just want that look for dunes, not really for avg driving, prolly just put the mickeys on at the campground and run them all weekend, then switch back to these to save the mickeys. And the occasional decision after a few too many that we should change the tires lol. :thumb::whistle:
