Got a guy interested in my rifle racks out of Big Ugly. The "upper" components come right out but the bases of them are riveted in with four rivets.

Without screwing up my truck, catching anything on fire, or making too ungodly much of a mess...how would you remove this?

Drill bit to the rivets. I did the same thing on an M1008 I had once for my BIL.

Use a big(like 3/8) drill bit and just stop drilling when the head comes off of the rivet. Then remove.

Ah, knew I should consult you guys first. I was already eyeing the pneumatic cut off tool.

a good sharp drill bit that is just a hair smaller than the head of the rivet is what ive always used and what my shop teacher always does

drill bit will work as stated go slowly or if you can get to the back side grind it off gently. may also have to hold as you drill they might start to spin.
they also make a specifis drill bit for rivits it comes with most rivit gun set's. It has a small drill bit and then larger kind of like a step bit.
