HUGE problem with 2010 event shirts

I'm relaxed, since BB has come and gone, I had to find a new way to play with Scott. :D:doah:

but, sounds like they are on the way..

We'll see what happens with the replacement shirts. I know it's a big inconvenience and I really appreciate everyone's patience. That being said, one thing to keep in mind is that Magnum Ink has donated over $300 in merchandise each of the last 2 years. We can look at another vendor but we will have to pay more for the shirts and we may not get the additional door prize donations. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to make things right.
 
When shouldn we expect the shirts to be back?:dunno:

This is actually cool. Front are the sponsors, right?

So, one could make an argument to the sponsors that in order for them to continue receiving exposure, it would be in their interest to continue their sponsorship, because the logos from last year are going to expire... :whistle:
 
I heard back from Magnum Ink today. They are running behind because they have been dealing with some serious personal health emergencies and since they are a small family operation it has affected their production abilities. She assured me they are working to get the shirts done and they should be heading back out to everyone soon.
 
Screw the shirts, tell them to take their time! Just take care of family. If you need another shirt that bad, go to good will and find another faded brown shirt. Then just say it was from BB!:D

Yah man tell them family comes first. I still would like my shirt but health problems can really kill you, extend my best to them would ya
 
We should really harness the concept of the "disappearing logo" :thumb:.

"... Due to circumstances out of our control, sponsor logos on the Blazer Bash T-shirts will slowly disappear over the course of 6 months, and will be gone entirely by the time next year's event will be upon us. To ensure receiving continued exposure at this fine event, we encourage you to renew your sponsorship for next year's event at your earliest convenience..."


or somesuch... :laugh:
 
:thinking: I don't know if that will work quite the way sponsors are hoping for... :dunno: :laugh:
