Hummer 6.2 vs other J codes

What makes a hummer 6.2 40+ more hp.. I was poking around and I saw 185hp/330tq??
Did I misread something? What is different? precups? fueling? I know the injection pumps are multifuel but I was under the impression you can only burn so much fuel before EGT goes nutso..
I also read somewhere that all 6.2 cams are the same. So how could you get a decent chunk more power without changing the heads or the cam? And not burn in down in a hummer.

Maybe the J code intakes and lack of EGR helps add a few more ponies and torque ?..

Ever hear of a "Reviva" 6.5 GM diesel ?...saw this one on craigslist Saturday--first ad had it listed for 100 bucks!..misprint I guess,now its 1000...not far from me,but I'm not interested in it for a grand..a hundred,yes!..6.5 turbo diesel military spec reviva w/46k

I looked it up, they're a rebuilder but I guess they use Gep blocks.. Supposed to be pretty good..
