Will military hummer tires fit on any 16.5 rim or do you need hummer wheels?
M/T II's and MTR's if they are TRUE hummer surplus will fit regular 16.5 rims.
I am not familiar with any other trie the hummer has run. What is a M998? got pics?

those fit on any 16.5x9.75 rims. you know you can get those used from Boyce Equipment for like $50-75 each? just FYI
i have 16.5 x 6.75" rims and they fit ---kinda skinny though
A M998 is a form of Hummvee...its the cargo version with a soft top. Jesse
ah. thanks for the FYI
I thought hummers had 37" tires, and those are 36"...just curious.
The've got both. i currently run the 37;s and i have a buddy that runs the 36's. they have different tread design.
Earlier hummers had 36" Goodyear RT Bias Ply tires while the later ones that started showing up in about 93 while I was in the Army had the 37" Goodyear MT Radials.
I checked Boyce Equip. and they sell used tires for $75 + $25s/h
Nothing like a little tireology...I made a word...lol /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
