just wondering if the studs are the same for the 8 bolt vs 12 bolt rims?

also, anyone know of a cheap place to get them? i need all 32 plus nuts = $96 cheapest i could find so far...i could almost buy a set of rims for that much!

thanks

are they just 1/2-20 flange nuts?

anyone know if the studs are all the same?

No, they have rough back surface to prevent it from backing off.

Bump for the stud question. I'd like to know too.

I'm not sure if I understand your question right, maybe its too early, but I run hummer take off wheels on my D60 and 14ff and the studs were the same. Hope this helps.

We are talking about the studs that hold the two piece H1 wheels together.

yes, they are the same stud for the 8 and 12 lug...the only place i know to get "them" is usa6x6...thats where i got the few i was missing, but as far as alllll of them thats some $$$. i dont know if they are the same stud for a different application, say front D60 hub or somthing, but im sure they wouldnt be any cheaper anyway, ya know? sorry

If someone can get the NSN for them, then cross-reference to the specs in FEDLOG, you might find them available elsewhere (not USA6x6)

Someone tell me if these are correct.

OOOoooooooooh! Nice info ReadyMix:bow::bow::bow:

I'd like the "Civy info" on ALL those parts.

I have seen the valve assembly On new JLG equipment. Specifically the driveable work platform scissor lifts.

HMMWV wheel parts (for easy searching)

o-ring:
mcmaster-carr has them for $7.60 for a 2 pack, part # 9452K451, it's a 14" ID, 14.5" OD and 1/4" diameter

nut:
fastenal has them for $0.43 or less, part #37375, desctiption FLNG LK REG 1/2-20.
They are zinc plated. Here's what the back looks like

How about that one? Where would you find it? I'd like to keep the run flat in my kids truck just in case. Anybody know how well these balance up? Seems the lube packets would throw things out quite a bit.

Hijack off.

The lube will spread itself around the tire. I think it would help more than hinder. Looked like thick hi-temp bearing grease to me but I didn't touch it:eek1:

Possibly like the stuff on the kingpin for tractor trailers:dunno:

Don't know where to get it either.

I'm not real sure as to how they attach the lube packets or how its all supposed to work. The remnants of a few I've seen. Plastic bags taped on to the run flat but they were placed all around the run flat. I assumed they were to pop when the tire went flat and release the lubricant at that point.:dunno:

Maybe there is an alternative lubricant that could be put in the tire and not necessarily in packets....

I have never seen or used the lubricant packets, the only lube we ever used is GAA and a tankers bar to get the runflats inside the tire. I don't have access to FEDLOG but the NSN #'s are correct according to the old paper manual. I'll try and get with a PLL clerk to find out some more info.

The manual I have read only has one lube packet per tire. Taped with seams folded under. As you drive the bag rips and grease spreads around the whole tire.
