where can a get Hurculine, how much is it. And how much do i need to floor boards. Oh and is there any other stuff better that i can do my self.

Schucks / Kragen / Checker sella it, usually around 49.99 a gallon but goes on sale for around 29.00 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That's duplicolor at checker for that price. At least out here in Az it is. Kmart has it for about $90 a gallon /kit.
It's great stuff, but a word of caution, dont buy any that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time. The rubber
particules settle in the bottom and set like jello does.
I tried mixing it back up but all I could do was turn it into smaller chunks so it did not turn out as clean as the fisrt time I used it.

In my weekly Northern Tool and Equip they have one gallon kits on sale for $69.99 with an additional $20 mail-in rebate.

I bought Herculiner at Pep Boys (Ca.).Worked great to cover the cargo area in my Suburban. I heard they carry it at K-Mart. Think I paid 60 bucks.

I've noticed that Checker always has it for $59.99 on sale in their Sunday flyers. I'll be doing the same once I replace the floor boards.

wal mart carries the duplicolor brand. Don't remember how good that one was but its cheap. Like 40 bucks for the gallon.

The Duplicolor stuff does not hold up well at all. I used it on a toolbox. The color faded really quick and I could not get the coating on thick enough. First time something hit it good it peeled off.

that is what I seem to remember about that as well.

To do you whole tub, firewall to tailgate you'll need 1.5 to 2 gallons of herculiner, depending on how many coats you do and what all parts you decide to cover.

I did it to my K5 and totally dig it. If I was daddy-warbucks I would have had the whole thing Line-X'd... but considering the cost herculiner is a great mod. Keeps rust at bay and gives ya hose-ability. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I also plan on doing this to my 79. I am making it trail only and not gonna even bother putting the top back on. So weatherproofing the inside will be nice.

I saw both Herculiner and Dupli-color at our local Autozone yesterday.Havent heard much good about the Dupli-color stuff around here either. Went there to get 4 ft.of 3/8 fuel line--can you beleive they didnt have any! /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

You can get it at a lot of places, just don't get it on your hootus... /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
