Hydro Assist resevoir help

maybe on the low pressure return line. If there is such a thing.

I would get a hose that would connect to the bottom of the resevoir in the picture and attach it with the fitting from dodge to the top of the existing rez and then cap the small line up on the top.

Connect to the other rez with this part. Post #122. I used that on the top of my existing rez and connected a piece of tubing from the remote to it.

You can see pics of it here

I typed in the part number on dodge and chrysler and both came back no such part.

Sean at Performance Offroad has a Powersteering pump housing which has a #10 fitting inlet on the top of it. Just hook your return line to the top fitting on the resevoir, then hook the bottom one on the resevoir to the pump housing. This setup is actually better then a stock resevoir system because it cycles all of the fluid through the system. A stock type system will usually not use the fluid above the housing.

Here is what i did. I bought a grommet (part number 4333475) from the Chrysler dealer that attaches to the top of the stock resevoir and then connects with a 3/4" hose to a remote resevoir.

I just used an extra piece of coolant hose. It gave me the extra capacity i needed and helped me get to the filler with the OBA there. The neck/cap is a Summit item welded to an aluminun tube. Cheap but effective!
