Nash, It look really good. How about some pictures of the build up of how you supported everything.
Ooooh! I like it!
Damn dude, i like that one even better than mine.. Killer fab work. You going to noconna on the 29th?
1970 VW Bug tail lights..Nice touch!
The tailights are VW!!! They are for an early 70 beetle. They are the flush mount type. I have some pics of the build up , they will be up on our shops website. SOON I hope. The whole thing is framed with 1 x 1 steel. It is braced VERY well.
No I have not been able to wheel it. I have a new rear end going in, with disc brakes. My coils are on their way. Soon I will be starting on the four links for the front and rear. Thanks yall for the encouragement
Thanks Lake , you are thr reason that I had the guts to do it. I was inspired by your rig. So your compliment measns a whole lot. Justin Holt is the man behind my scheme, he has been the biggest help anyone could imagine. Justin is my partner in crime and the main force behind RockTek. Thanx Again
That is one fine looking truck. Can't wait to see the link setup. What style are you going with? Diamond plated, got to love it!
That's really funny, cause your truck has been a big inspiration to me. We're going to have to get down to doing some wheeling before too long!
How much do you think you'll be weight wise with this new incarnation? Damn it's very tempting to do a similar treatment to my bed. Are those toolboxes built into the side plates? I like it a lot dude. You open air always now?
They also make a flush mount tinted lens too.
Looks great. You going to add some tubing to the outside of the "Bedsides" to keep the trees and rocks from bashing them? There was a guy at Disney, OK with a Ramcharger who bobbed the rear and built a new bed. He used square tubing but the truck looked real similar to yours. Keep taking pics! On another note, if you take a side view pic and give me some exact measurement, I can draw any tubing work you need done - In AutoCAD 3D. This would give you a visual, Id be glad to help.
Man, I really dig it! Sweet work bro! Definately want to check out some more pics...
Very nice job!!! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
Is that your wife sitting in the front seat? Haha! She's already ready to go wheelin'!
On the truck...my exact thoughts were..../forums/images/icons/ooo.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
