I have a K5!

Okay, so it has (in no particular order):
-Dual front shocks
-Auto hubs
-66 amp alt
-transfer case and gas skidplates
-AC
-Cruise
-tilt
-power everything
-HD radiator with trans cooler
-3.73 gears
-Grenade Lock
-6250lb GVWR
-Z82 trailering package with factory trailer wiring, bigger brakes, and factory hitch
-AM/FM cassette stereo

Looks like bigger tires will be in it's future at some point. Bigger alt whenever I need to do that as well.

I know you can to up to a 33" tire with out lift or cutting anything (just bending back one spot on both front fenders) assuming the springs are not sagging horribly. However, bigger tires are going to rob you of power as well. I like the way this one drives with 31's and 3.73 gears. You have plenty of get up and go, and your not going to kill the 700R4!

Nice find.
When I bought/drove my blazer home from Florida I averaged a little over 21 mpg(us units) driving 65mph. 4" lift and 35's as well.

I might do either 32's or narrow 33's. One of those "when it needs tires I might as well..." things.

Thanks.

Any of the automotive math experts want to tell me what kind of RPM's to expect with the 6.2L + 700R4 + 3.73's + 31's = ?
Being from Michigan 70 is usually the cruising speed but if this thing is a bit high there and eating fuel I'll gladly stick with 65.

Nice! Similar deal to the one I plan on buying from my uncle in August. Its an almost completely stock 84 diesel. The only thing not stock is the front seats and 31s. Its black and white two tone. Let me know what kind of gas mileage you get out of it. My uncle claims 25 highway but he's the slowest driving person I've ever met.
i drive mine slow and let it TALK in the dirt :D Walk softly and carry a big stick

So pretty ideal then.

Just for ****s and grins...what info would I need for that calculator thingy? Wondering what it might be like with 32's and maybe 33's.

Thanks. I owe Kenny a lot. He did all the hard work, I just paid for it.

Most definitely. I just bought a set of Warn Premium hubs from a member and another member has a new set of KYB rear shocks. Gotta love CK5!

Thanks. Always wanted a 89-91. Was close a few times but never got all the way to doing it.

Yup.

Got the lawn mowed, weedwacked, and a few trees trimmed.

Now to wash the dogs, clip their nails and clean their ears (gotta be purty and nice for Grandma and Grandpa ya know), clean the house, setup the house for potential viewing, get Big Ugly ready (including grooving and siping one more tire), and then pack.

Grooving and siping. I am so glad these IRoks come predone. I did my old TSLs. Took way too long for my patience.
