You could always come for a ride along. Just sayin.
Haha couldn't resist
Ben, you're always welcome in my truck
Funny thing is that I'm actually replacing my distributor before the trip. I guess we all have ignition problems
Currently hanging in the hospital with the wife. Baby could come any time (they may induce soon), so probably not the best idea
At any rate, if you guys get something going in a few months from now, I'd love to tag along. Glenn, I'd be down to hold down your passenger seat
I just got my Burt back after getting whacked for over 1300 for a trans rebuild. It'll be a while before I'll be able to sit, my butt hurts.
But, I'd be down for something mid summer, when I get my crap together.
Wow... the one week I actually have plans for an offroad trip, my truck dies! Luckily, after about 3 days its running healthy & strong.
What time and where on Sunday are we meeting? (Sorry if this was already posted)
Looks like it might be a wet run. Calling for rain Friday and Saturday.
PS it ended up being my distributor also.
My current need to fix list:
-replace leaky axle seal on pass rear (might have to replace brake shoes too )
-adjust wheel bearings
-get an inspection sticker
Not so big of a to-do list, could have it done in an afternoon. It'll definitely be ready for sunday
I have been reroofing my house the last 4 days and have not even touched a computer. I will check tonight for the meeting spot time and addy.
I have updated the thread on the FTR site with the appropriate info. Please check this link below, I use the same screen name there. And make note of what is written in red, also my contact info. If something happens and you can not make it last minute you need to call or text me so we are not waiting around for someone who isn't going to show up.
The first meeting spot will be at the Charlton rest stop, Mass Pike westbound side at 8:30 and we roll out at 9. Not a problem for myself, Glenn or Rich cause we all come from eastern Mass. But mpio (I still don't know your name) you are coming from CT, does this spot work for you?
I will actually be coming from Vermont down 91. Would it be possible to meet at the address you have listed as the official meeting spot? That would work well for me.
The rest stop on the Pike is in the wrong direction for me. I live right by 91, it's a straight shot right up to Northhampton. That's where this trail is right?
What exit do you get off 91 on? I could meet you right off the exit in NoHo.
Read the FTR link; I can get myself to 330 king St.
OK then, 330 King St it is. I will have to calculate a time to meet there. Stay tuned....
I have updated the first post in the FTR thread. Please check the link above for correct meeting times and spots.
As for Glen, I will probably meet up with you at the end of my street, that dirt lot across from Shaws no later than 6:30 if you want to roll out there together.
Is that new Dunks open yet? I'm going to need some...
Alright see you guys there.
Yeah, it's a long ride out there. 1.5 hours to Charlton, another hour to NoHo.
And I don't think it's open yet. We can hit the one at Middleboro rotary if you want.
Was able to get a few more things checked off the list. And I washed it!
I believe I'll have some company. My brother with his Tahoe and possibly a Jeepster. Thats ok right?
My brother "said yes, for sure" but he flakes out sometimes. The Jeepster said he'll think about it. Sounded interested....
A Tahoe? I hope it's not stock, it won't get very far up the hill.
It's OK if they come but we are nearing the rig limit at this point, simply because of the small trail size. Body damage is always a possibility so I hope that Tahoe isn't just a mall crawler. Not saying he shouldn't go just know what to expect.
