I am using a factory harness from a 90 K5 in a 63 Scout. BUT I am having issues with it. So far the harness works great for starting and 4wd indicator. I am not getting any juice to the rest of the lights though. The fuel pump is working, but the fuel relay keeps buzzing the entire time the key is on. When you make contact with a hot wire anywhere in the system with a test light the buzzing gets louder. The light swith has no juice at all. Here is a list of what is going on.
The light switch has a BLK, GRN, WHT, BRN, 2 ORG, red, and light yellow colored wires. I had to extend the harness out to reach where I wanted to mount the switch.
Key on power: IGN, gage/idle, turnB/U, ECM1, HTR A/C, Radio, stop H/Z, aux htr A/C, ACC.
Not hot with key on: horn D/M, instr lps, lps, ECMB
Crank fuse hot when cranking
stop H/Z 15A constant hot
Can anyone help me with why my lights won't work? I am totally frazled and frustrated with this part.
