Your welcome! Lot of stuff went out this week. Things were a little crazy but that's a good thing.

Ours arrived today, too. They are very cool /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif. I got them for my husband's rig, but they'd sure look nice on mine /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

What style did ya get? I won't have pics up for quite awhile, because hubby's rig is probably not going to be ready til next spring. Maybe I should use them in the meantime /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Cool Deal!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You'll have to post-up some pics.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
What color are you painting them...
I'm doing purple wheels/black rings.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Considering this is how the rig sits now:

it's gonna be awhile. He has something like this in mind:

Well, with seats & stuff. Kert, I had to borrow your tires/wheels for the picture since they are the same style beadlock. I'm a little out of practice on my photo chopping. Interesting, I didn't even need to cut much fender on that thing! Seems as though rust has taken care of that already /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I like that picture! Borrow away and do all the photo chopping with my wheels that you need.

what style did you get?? I bought "the ripper" will get them welded soon (when i figure out which rims to weld them to) /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

When you get them all welded up and decide how you like them maybe you could email me a customer testimonial for my website?

Anybody that has bought my stuff could do this as well.

email them here if you are so inclined:

I know this sounds dumb to experienced off roaders, but what are beadlocks? How do they work?

/forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

Fred

They 'lock' the tire 'bead' to the wheel so you can run extremely low tire PSI and not peel a tire off the wheel.

Someone has a really good pic on how it works.
Basically you have a ring that you weld onto your rim, then you have another ring that bolts to that first ring. in between the 2 rings the tire bead gets pinched in there, or "locked" = beadlocks /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

How much weight depends on which style you end up with. I do alot of custom stuff so the weight of each different style varies. Usually around 15 -17 lbs. per wheel and then some hardware. I have been contacted by a few others to desing a light weight version so something is in the works there.

go to my website below and you can see some pictures that might help explain things.

One ring that comes with the kit is welded to the rim all the way around. The tire bead sits up against that and then the bolt ring clamps the tire between the two with 32 3/8" bolts.
