I think I found my 465

Now I will just have to find a 205 who fits behind it.
Would a 205 who have been behind a 400 fit?
The 465 is from a 1985 truck 32 splines and round 6 bolt pattern.

If you still have access to the donor, go get the reverse light wiring and the pedals!

I know the 4L80E 205 app. will mate to your 465, but I think there are 2 different inputs (short or long) on the TH400/205 combo's. Should be covered in other posts.

The only thing left of the donor is the 465 so I will have to build my own pedal stuff and hydro thingys.
About the two different lenght of 400 I can´t recall wich my old one was but from the pic I think it will fit.

You will need the long 32 spline input on the NP205 to mate it
to the 32 spline SM465.I'm in the process of doing this myself,here's a couple pics.

you need a long input 205. also you might need a new adapter if the one you have has no provision on the pass side for a shifter

The adapter you got is the type I need.
My 465 and 205 is just like yours but my adapter is for a 208 and a little shorter.
