You dont like my idea? Its the easiest and quickest way /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Not very close up I guess, but it does show it. The rear of th fronts are 5 inches from the door and straight up.
Gee I dunno dueler I just looked at your sit and it looks like the tires did a little too much trimmin' for me LOL/forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Thanks Esteban, looks good, also Kinda wanted to know what size tires and lift you guy's were runnin'. I'm at stock height right now with 33'' s and don't want that much more height(less than 4") and want to keep the 33''s. so thats why the post, I want as low to the ground with the most articulation...I know I know /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif/forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Cool, did anyone really go to the trouble of fixing it so it looked factory, thats what my plan is, my brother does body work and has the right tools so just wondering, just want to get an idea where to cut and then bend and tack or finish the welds...

Do you plan on doing the back...
So make with the lift, tire size and how you plan on tweeking it, maybe I wont have to go to those extremes or atleast the extremes of Esteban...Nothing wrong with it I think it looks cool. I'm just a puss/forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
fumes... do a search... I forget who it was... kanojoe or something like that maybe... definetly could be wrong. But he trimmed his fenders and welding some patches so it had the factory bend over and everything. Man it was a sharp deal. Truck was like a dull limish green color with nice shiney orange motor and coated headers. Wish I could remeber more for ya /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
i will have some of mine in the next few days ill send them to you when i get them i have more of a stock or rounded look to mine /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Oh so you mean something more like this.
This was my first trim job on the truck. I had 2 1/2 inch lift and 33's in these pics.
Here are pix of the front and rear on my truck.
