I want this Super 14 bolt

I saw some of that the other day, pretty cool stuff. Iirc, the 3rd member can be flipped to run as a high pinion. I can't remember if the gears or carrier were special or standard issue.

From what I've heard, all PortalTek "products" are just vaporware...
Agreed
It seems that they take their sweet time getting things out there.

They better be serious about this because they have several Vegas to Reno racers stepping up to run this rear end at the end of the summer. There world could go to hell in a hand basket real quick with the players that are wanting this and already ordering them with pre-payments to guarantee rapid delivery.

The gear set can be flipped to make the axle shafts spin backwards so they can put their portal box's on to make a Portal, high pinion 14bolt.

I want to put on some high end desert race style spindles hubs and rotors to save weight. Maybe a 14bolt rear end with 40spline axles that weighs 300# or less?

I have a problem YES.

Looking for more HP, lighter axles, and more shocks.

Probably just end up with more HP and shock tuning.

I think a new car is really in order but that isn't happening for a while so we will polish the buggy as much as we can.

BTW I finally got most of my side of the Garage cleared out and I think the buggy might be coming home:D:D:D:D:D:D

I think i just ruined shorts:crazy::D

It's Ok.

I have several sets that needed a little extra washing lately.

I just hope that their 6 to 8 week lead time is true and the guys that have already ordered them can start being the guinea pigs for the rest of us.:haha:

Yeah, all hell will break loose if they don't deliver. I know of 2 that have pre-paid and committed to using them.
I think it is waaay cool and inovative that they came up with an answer to the 9" that it much stronger.
I agree with you though, for the recreational wheeler, it's only a dream...........and not really needed. I do know this, if I win the lottery, it's mine!!
BTW: thanks for posting up the weights in that other thread.
