my 700r4 tranny... I know I have take the pan off,but where do I get the drain plug from? What size?
Ive seen them at Autozone, or you could call Summit racing (1-800-230-3030)
Eric, you can get the drain plug kit from my work, we just sold one today to greg72. He is actually going to use it to mount his oil and tranny temp senders.
Checker also has them next to the oil filter wrenches here in my home town. Just remember that you still have about 3-5 quarts ATF that does not drain out of the torque converter. You would need to flush the system to get all the old fluid out.
Sweet... I'll stop by ether today or tomorrow Scott.
Well did you get the drain plug installed? How did it work out? How about some pics?
Damn, nothing like bringing up a 5 YEAR OLD post.
Heh heh, he said "bung."
Nothing like a old hole revisited. They used to put drain holes on them (Transmissions) till they figured they could save money by NOT doing it.
So did you ever get it done?
you shoulda got one of those cool ribbed crome jobs.then put a mirror under your rig every where you park.
