So anyways, just want a cheap deck for my car. I want it to play MP3's off of CD-R's, and thats about the extent of it.

I really don't want something more expensive, sound quality really isn't THAT important to me, no rare looks or functions, as long as the radio works and the MP3's will play.

I can get it maybe a bit cheaper at best buy, and free install since I know someone who works there, but I'm open to anyones ideas or experiences. The CD won't even get much use I suspect, but better to have it than not. And if the deck DOES get stolen, it's not that big of a deal I guess for $150 or less.

I am a fan of Panisonic decks. I have one in my K5 and like it and plan on getting the new one with the TV tuner and screen for my dodge cummins. I don't know if you can get a deck that plays MP3's under $150 though.

Panisonic has improved in quality alot over the yaers. I still prefer JVC and Clarion though. More bang for the buck. Lots of good deals on Ebay right now. Alot of places are selling last years models too make room for the new stuff.

Errrr um, I linked to a Panasonic deck for $100
I don't like ebay for items like that. I would buy from a stereo shop or Crutchfield first.
