ID\'ing a SF and FF 14 bolt

So, I am thinking that I don't really know the difference. I was under the impression that if the akle has eight bolts on the "hub" holding it in it was a FF. Also, if it has eight lugs it is a FF. However, reading another post on here is making me doubt these two criteria are in fact how you id a FF. Help? Clarification? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif
Thanks guys.

Re: ID\'ing a SF and FF 14 bolt

if it has the big hubs that protrude past the wheels, then its a FF. if it has 8 lugs with no hub, its a SF. if its a stock axle with 6 lugs, its a SF.

Re: ID\'ing a SF and FF 14 bolt

The hubs on the full floater stick out and have like 8 bolts holding the axle shaft in. The diff covers are also different shape. The cover on semi-floater is more a round shape.

no. A Sticker you apply by removing the backing and sticking to an abject. And an Decal you apply by putting in water and transfering to the object.

The more I look at it, it looks like an sticker.

Re: ID\'ing a SF and FF 14 bolt

Its a sticker. I belive the other would be a vinyl cut decal. The kind you peel the back off, then stick it on, then peel the front off.
