I'd make a million..............
George Jones rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is all
If you've never heard of George Jones, then you would be confused................
I was listening to one of my david allan coe cd's today.. has a duet with him and george jones.. "this bottle in my hand".. what a song..
Is that the one w/ shelby lynne?
I'm going to see George Jones in concert on sept 24th!...it'll be my first time to see him live!...hoping he'll sign autographs after the show....
The "Opry" is honoring George with a week of tribute performances the during the second week of sept. also..no one in country deserves it more than
"The Possum!".. ..
That old dude is nuttier than a fruit cake. He has split personality's. One of them is Donald Duck, no joke!
I believe thats her name.
The Possum is awesome. I saw him in concert years ago w/ Vince Gill as the opener and Conway Twitty as the ehadliner. One of my all time favorite concerts.
BTW, I just go his new release "18 Greatest" in the mail the other day. It's full of classics. Bought it via his web site for under $9 shipped.
What are your favorite George Jones songs?....my all time fave is
"He Stopped Loving Her Today"...
I also like his version of "White Lightning" and "The One I Loved Back Then","I'm Your One Woman Man","A Picture Of Me Without You",and the classic "The Last Thing I Gave Her Was The Bird"!!...
"Have you seen my chicken"
"I gotta get drunk"
"The king is gone"
......................................., It would be easier to list my least favorite
I'd have to say my two favorite are...
"The Race Is On"
"He Stopped Loving Her Today"
- I actually sang this to a girl several years ago @Karaoke. She couldn't make up her mind between two of us, so both of us guys said to hell with it & we both sang it....then got really drunk
