A 1959 23' Owens...
wheres the beer?
Cool beans dude!
Looks like it could use a coat of paint though.
The stove there doubles as the liquor cabinet.
Nice boat, BTW!
so you sold the land boat for a water boat?
gunna pimp this one too?
I guess I need to bring my sander over tomorrow as well.
Alway's wanted to sail the sea's..but as Fumes seamen. I don't think so!
Now thats a sigline!
Tell us more.
Sheesh... I feel like I'm at work....
One of our specialties, wood boats... imo, they should all be chainsawed for firewood!
Oh, hey, nice boat there Fumes!
Is that the SS Minnow?
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day,
for a three hour tour, a three hour tour………
The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost.
The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
with Gilligan, the Skipper too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle.
So this is the tale of our castaways,
they're here for a long, long time.
They'll have to make the best of things,
it's an uphill climb.
The first mate and his skipper too,
will do their very best,
to make the others comfortable,
in the tropic island nest.
No phones, no lights, no motor cars,
not a single luxury.
Like Robinson Crusoe,
it's primitive as can be.
So join us here each week my friend,
you're sure to get a smile.
From seven stranded Castaways,
Here on Gilligan's Isle.
Loves that show.... Mary Ann... huba...huba...huba...
I think its just another place to get drunk...
There, changed it to the first season lyrics.
It's a new fort that was too big for the front door. Boys will be boys.
MY Grandfather bought it brand new for 5K from a place in Portland Or. and cruised it up river to Beacon rock boat launch, had a trailer made and took it home to Carson Wa. ...
Then later when they moved to a smaller house he slid it off the trailer and into his shop. We got the trailer today and got it ready to slip back under the boat and then it will reside in my shop where we will restore it..
It was actually given to my Uncle and then after our Grandma finally passed away and they were getting ready to sell the house, we asked if we could buy it, and he said that if we kept it in the family we could have it.
So technically it belongs to me, my Sister, my brother and my cousin, because we're all doing the work to get and restore it...
It still has the operators manual, bill of sale and what not, pretty F'n cool.
Gramps also had a Diamond T log truck and we scored that as well and are restoring that and hope to pull the boat with it in the local parade...
Well now we need a picture of the truck.
So by "restore" you mean "paint pretty, put in a head and a fridge so we can throw beads at girls and get drunk while someone else drives the log truck".
Can you blame him?
It's already got a full gally, if thats what you call it and yes to your next assumption... Another pic of my Bro and Sis...
Is she single? I've always had a thing for blurry picture myspace chicks.
